Well I'll look at a date in August so as to give everyone a bit of notice. Might see if any of the Muppets would like to come along. If any of you don't mind?

What's the Garlic Festival, Bob
I will be at Alton on Wednesday, looking forward to it, I will Tmax it down, although this is breaking a simple rule of mine, one up, I use the X9, it has a radio to listen to, and less wind buffetting. 2 up, I use the Tmax, Linda considers it nearly as good as a Pan-European for comfort, in fact she nearly had a nap on the back on last Saturday's ride to 'Miss Moppitts' High Class Tea Shop in Appledore.

What age/model T-Max did you get, Dave?

I'll no doubt set eyes upon it on Wednesday anyway but just curious for now. Very Happy

I went in to buy a new 2008 model in black, which arrived the week before and needed the PDI done on it. I said nothing at at time, but went back to buy it later in the week.
It had been sold in that short space of time, but as I was leaving the salesman told me of the part exchange Tmax on that deal. A 2007 (07) 11,000 Silver one, fully loaded with most extras for £4500. So I took a chance and brought that one unseen, (I part-ex the BMW scarver on the deal) I have known the mechanic for 10+ years and the bike was given the 12000 mile service early, including Belt, all filters and rear tyre.
So far so good, thanks for asking, see you Wednesday.

Is Wednesday still viable as it's supposed to be raining all week in this neck of the woods? I don't fancy 140 miles in wet windy conditions just for the sake of it.

Sorry guys, I'm crying off this one. BBC weather for the week ahead forecasts heavy persistent rain on Wednesday.

Keep your options open Bob, it's too early to call yet.
